I didn’t start out wanting to be in the media industry, but following my heart led me here. At the end of the day, I realize that the work I love to do involves these three things: 1. Storytelling, 2. Bringing people together and 3. Making a positive impact on people’s lives.

Writing music and writing for a media outlet, although seemingly disparate industries, have more in common than you think. The same thing goes for doing on-camera work for a web series and performing at an open mic. How about being an independent musician and an entrepreneur? For me, these two things are one and the same. As Steve Jobs once said, “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards.”

Going with the flow and following what really interests me has never let me down and I’m excited for what adventures lie ahead.

Below are select samples of my work in the media so far.
